is my home day care a commercial business?

I have a small family I lost four children that I have friends with their parents, I am a state licensed and insured etc.my issue would become a commercial company or a small business to consider home? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of moving to a condominium development, which prohibits only business. You would have your secretary of state determines Express "commercial". States differ in their determination. Day Care is a different matter, and it's really hard to say. Since you are providing services to persons (children) think this is a commercial activity. Most small business key is composed of small mail order, selling insurance, publishing and data entry. If you actually get customers for you so you may not meet your states guidelines. Hope this is helpful. This probably means that they not only announce a big sign in your yard that you are a kindergarten. But sure, the leaders of the community of your city areas things residential and commercial buildings - if you do not have a big sign outside the door, not the placement of your neighbors street to drop alarming, and gather, and children are not all boring people on the block , you can probably consider residential area. Our city needs a city inspection of the home if there is more than 6 children in care. The house need a daycare license in this case. But your town or can not be otherwise, you have City Clerk or call and ask your city councilor. You should ask your club. Some you can "babysit" but when you look like a commercial enterprise is considered a commercial enterprise has been set. I mean, since you have your license and you are sure that you have taken a management company situation commercial (business license, if you grant a license for children it means different) .
